Raw Beauty (Richard G. White & Jessica Q. Ross) share music that is so full of love, soul, and vibrant energy. This group’s focus is to bring R&B back to its roots with a touch of sexy. Raw Beauty represents the raw beauty in music, love and  life. After years of honing their craft, performing in multiple venues with artists such as Trey Songz, Al B. Sure, TANK, Jon B, R-Kelly, Eric Benet, 112, Jasmine Sullivan, Ce-Ce Penniston, The Roots, Lupe Fiasco, Chaka Khan, Eric Roberson, Marsha Ambrosius, Raheem DeVaughn, Glenn Lewis, working with world renown Songwriter & Producer, Carvin Haggins (writer of Musiq’s “Love” and “Don’t Change”), Matrax Productions and creating countless recordings, Raw Beauty (R&B) continues to take the proper steps to attain international stardom. This male and female duo was forged in the essence of soul leaving a lasting impression with all they encounter.



In 2006, Raw Beauty enjoyed the positive feedback from their well-received independent release of their EP entitled, “JesstR(ich)ght”. Sought after by some of the industry’s elite producers, Raw Beauty is currently completing their first full-length album. Staying true to hard work and dedication, Raw Beauty has been interviewed in many periodicals including “Next Magazine” and on “Singersroom.com”, as well as appeared on several New York entertainment shows. They’ve also interviewed and performed on countless radio stations. To propel notoriety, Raw Beauty enlisted in national music artist challenges and took home the top prize in the “Faces in the Crowd” and “4KingsProductions” national showcases. As young veterans in the music industry, Ross and White have traveled a road that many inspiring artist should admire and record executives will respect.

Jessica began pursuing her singing career at the age of fourteen; at that time she was approached by her music teacher and completed in-studio recordings for a demo package. Ross continued to sing in high school, starring in talent shows, festivals, youth summits, and church, always making sure her voice could help her surrounding community. In college, she sang for the famous James Earl Jones, opened for various artists, and lifted the spirits of the crowd and team at basketball games with her version of the National Anthem. She also worked with world renowned, creative genius and artist Lauryn Hill with recording and background vocals, she has continued to grow as an artist and as she states “learned from one of the greats”.
 

​RWHITE
Rich began to realize his infinite potential by performing in musical and theatrical productions. At the age of fifteen, Richard signed a deal with GS Records as “Demont White”, where he released a single “When we get together”. The single had national radio and video exposure. Richard was later recruited to sing background for Musiq Soulchild. This is where he sharpened his craft and gained an understanding of the ethics and spirit of music. He credits the knowledge of his craft to Musiq and the soulful duo Aaries.

Music connoisseurs appreciate “R&B” not just as singers, but also as accomplished songwriters and authentic performers. Often recognized as being the modern day Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, they bring an element of artistry and energy in their performances that conjure up intimate, heartfelt, raw emotion in people. Since these talents met and fused together, their only desire is to entertain viewers and make an impressive catalog of classics for listeners to hand down throughout generations. In February, 2012, Raw Beauty released an EP which can be found on ITunes, CDBaby.com, Amazon.com and a plethora of other media circuits, including in Nigeria AFRICA and the UK. Magic Johnson’s Network ASPIRE TV on Comcast also features the duo in a series of commercial spots. Just released their 3rd Independent Album "ALL or Nothing" in 2013 and in 2019 collaborated with Philly's own Scratchologist and Janet Jackson's DJ, DJ Aktive with the single "Pheels like Home". This enchanting group is primed to become the music industries’ newest sensation.
